Novamont S.p.A, a leading company in the sector of bioplastics based on renewable raw

materials, is looking for a

                  SENIOR RESEARCHER

                       

 to be included in its R&D Laboratories – Polymer Synthesis department

Research activities:

• Synthesis  and characterization of polymers based on renewable raw materials
• Development and optimization of processes and materials.
• Scale up of processes from lab scale to industrial scale
• Scouting of new products/solutions for application in which biodegradable and/or renewable products might be valuable

Skills and qualifications

• Degree in chemistry or material engineering
• Preferably Master or PhD in chemistry or material engineering
• Proven 3 or more years’ experience in polymer synthesis.
• Deep knowledge of macromolecular chemistry and main polymers characterization techniques
• Deep knowledge of scientific and patent literature. 
• Creative approach with innovative applications matching requirements, opportunities and materials.
• Good team worker
• Documented experience in  managing complex projects
• Excellent listening and presentation skills

The place of employment is Novara (Italy)
