European Patent Convention

This year, the European Patent Convention (EPC) celebrates its 50th anniversary and the significant value it brings to our applicants, the industry, innovation, and European society.

The yearlong programme of celebrations culminates in a significant hybrid event on Thursday, 5 October, 50 years to the day since the signing of the European Patent Convention.

Catia Bastioli, CEO Novamont, and European Inventor Award, will participate in the "Technologies for a sustainable future” roundtable, where participants can share unique insights into the latest innovation and policy initiatives for a net-zero future, a healthier climate and more sustainable production patterns.
